Fantasy

The starting point and goal for my fantasy paintings was to make paintings that have some interpretational elements. Use symbolic elements, atmospheres and feelings to tell the story and to create deeper meaning and dimensional layer to viewer to interpret. My goal was also to free my imagination and creativity and not necessarily be tied to a model.
I have painted human figures and emotions, and also scenery and the spirit of the forest for the past exhibitions. Now in fantasy these all combine together.
Paintings throw questions in the air like… Do you dare to let yourself go with the stream? Or are you sitting by the stream and waiting for the moon to rise? If someone offers you the wine of life in your path of life, do you dare to drink it? It maybe sweet or sour and it could also leave bad taste in your mouth… it depends on the choices you have made in your life or the paths you have found.
Fantasy figures also have feelings and missions. They perform the stories from the side of the life path.
By stepping into the world of fantasy, we can take a moment off everyday life. We can see and project our life through fantasy. Everyone can tell their own life story through the paintings or interpret life.
The great masters painting technique has been adapted in some of the paintings.
